Inspector’s Diary Day 0: Labor Lottery

Labor_Lottery

Dear Diary,

Today is November 22, 1982.  Almost one month ago I receive very fortuitous letter.  My name has been pulled as winner of October Labor Lottery!

Ministry Of Admission has given me post of Admission Inspector at new Grestin Border Checkpoint.  An honourable position.

I have travelled to East Grestin with wife, son, mother-in-law, and uncle to begin work tomorrow.  Great nation of Arstotzka has provided us with Class 8 dwelling.  My family is so happy to have warm and safe place to live.

I am so proud to have opportunity to care for my family and serve my country.

GLORY TO ARSTOTZKA!

“Inspector’s Diary” is a literary play-through based on the video game Papers Please by Lucas Pope.
